Only question in my mind about Rossal's team is Kouyate - does a fit Noble really slow us down so much? At least Noble can pass and does have a football brain to see the options if there are runners in space ahead of him.

Absolutely no Ayew, Carroll or Cresswell anywhere near the team and we'll surely thump them.

Rossal 10:29 Tue Jan 2
Re: WHU team Vs WBA
Adrian

Reid Ginge Oggy

Zaba Obiang Kouyate Masuaku

Lanzini Chicarito Arnie

Huge huge game tonight, we have to win. Play at a tempo and get a early goal. They are winless in 19 games!

Fact!

Ayew starts tonight then we won't take three points!

Its like some kind of African voodoo spell

Feel free to revisit this post on the final whistle.

Andre Ayew

Totally agree with all the anti-Cresswell sentiment on here. We have three senior, experienced CBs fit - Collins, Reid and Ogbonna, plus Either Rice, Oxford or Kouyate who can do a decent job. I know Cresswell was decent when first played in this position but he has been awful the last couple of games and needs to be dropped if only to give him a kick up the backside.

For me the tricky decision is whether to risk Noble when we have Spurs two days after this game. It's so important to get three points in this game that I would take a chance and play him, maybe taking him off after an hour when hopefully we're at least 2 - 0 up....

We have not had 10 days rest. We last played on Boxing day, 6 days ago.

Having had a nice long rest don't be surprised to see our lot start the game as if they've just stirred from their post-prandial xmas stupor.
But anything less than all-out 100% commitment from our players, whatever the line-up, would be totally unnacceptable.
A draw or defeat will signal that we are not good enough for this league.

Re: WHU team Vs WBA
We have had 10 days rest and they will be playing their second in 48 hours. They haven't won since August, a barely scoring and have injuries to key players. For any team this on paper is the home banker of all home bankers and 3 points if you show up and play to win.

But

Ths is West Ham where things arwnt done the easy way. They haven't won in 19 and we are as obliging as the salvation army at a homeless shelter. You have to think Pardew will elicit some kind of turnaround, and what better time than against his old club.

Lower mid table is in touching distance, if only we can win a very winnable game. But we haven't been doing that all season and I have a feeling tomorrow will be far from straight forward

I wonder if Oxford will get a place on the bench for either of the next two matches.

Terry, I would add that Moyes also told Cresswell to take most (all when Lanzini was banned) free kicks and corners even though it is another thing he is not very good at.

On the positive side strangely in the first 4 games (Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Stoke) Cresswell was given this revolutionary role we kept clean sheets and even won a couple of games!

Where did it go wrong? And will Cresswell continue in this role? I suspect he will!

Sakho is already driving to France in his Nissan with his shoe shine box at the ready to try to get himself another club, the smelly fucking cunt.

Hahaha, very well summed up.
Better send him to the butchers instead if the opticians.

So summing up, Moyes decided to use as a third CB a player who is not very good in the air,is unable to tackle properly, has poor positional sense, can't use his right foot, and is not a very good passer of the ball.
Either this experiment comes to an end shortly,or Moyes will have to take time out for an appointment at his local opticians.

Bold move that mongo.

Wouldn't you rather play him as a CAB and maybe put Rice in front as a DM

Adrian
Collins - Reid - Ogbonna
Zaba - Oxford - Noble - Arthur
Lanzini
Arnie - Hernandez

Re: WHU team Vs WBA
Terry, you forgot he can't use his right foot, and his passing is bad. Apart from that he is ok

I'm struggling to find another right winger to replace Antonio.

Since Holland is injuried, i would pick Haksabanovic or Sakho

terry-h 10:58 Fri Dec 29
Re: WHU team Vs WBA
I don't know why Cresswell is getting so much stick these days. I suppose it could be that his heading ability is non-existent,he doesn't know how to tackle properly, and his positional sense leaves a lot to be desired. Apart from that he's ok.
